Speak to Go
Speak to Go is A WebVR experiment that allows anyone to be teleported anywhere simply by saying where they want to go.
WebVR is a new way to experience VR on the web. No apps, no downloads. You just tap a link.
When the technology was added to Chrome, we wanted to demonstrate how combining web technologies and native mobile features can create unique VR experiences.
The voice based interaction we developed for Speak to Go is now used in other Google products such as Street View VR.
“The dream of traveling by making a wish. By integrating voice commands into the virtual reality experience, you forget that you have to view it through the device, and you’re transported to any corner of the world in the blink of an eye.” — Communications Art
